Company formation FAQ - Business Stationery
Whether in paper, electronic, or any other form, a company must state its name, clearly and legibly, on all of the following:
- business letters
- order forms
- notices
- official publications
- bills of exchange, promissory notes, endorsements, cheques and orders for money or goods purporting to be signed by, or on the behalf of, the company
- all of its bills of parcels, invoices, receipts and letters of credit
- it websites
In addition to the above requirement, a company must include the following details on all of its business letters, order forms, and on the company's website:
- its place of registration
- its registered number
- its registered office address
- if the company is being wound-up, this fact must also be stated
These requirements apply to both paper and electronic copies. It is best practice to include this information in all company emails in order to ensure that you comply with the regulations.
